Highlights & Scenic drive
Visit Trinidad’s highlights on this comprehensive, half-day guided tour. You’ll pass by the lighthouse, the striking Parliament building known as the Red House as well as the “Magnificent Seven”, a row of imposing colonial houses originally built at the turn of the century as private residences. Continuing around the Queens Park Savannah, you’ll make a brief stop at the tropical Botanical Gardens, a cool shady enclave of exotic trees and tropical flowers.
Then it’s a short drive to Lady Young Lookout for an excellent panoramic view of Port of Spain. Departing, you’ll head for Santa Cruz Valley with its endless cocoa and coffee plantations. The drive through this valley is approximately 20 minutes and from here we continue along the scenic North Coast Road, where you will take in a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea at Maracas Lookout. On reaching Maracas Beach, Trinidad’s most beautiful and popular, you can swim, sunbathe or relax before returning to the hotel.

City Tour & Cultural Show
Take
in the sights and catch the musical beat of Trinidad
on this exciting tour. Departing from the pier
you’re sure to enjoy this informative scenic
drive of Port of Spain, Trinidad passing by the
lighthouse and the striking Parliament building
known as the Red House. Marvel at the “Magnificent

private residences. Continuing around the Queen’s
Park Savannah, you’ll make a brief stop
at the tropical Botanical Gardens and President’s
House, a cool shady enclave of exotic trees and
tropical flowers. Then it’s just a short
drive to Lady Young Lookout for an excellent panoramic
view of Port of Spain. On a clear day you can
see as far as Venezuela! After this 10 minutes
stop, we make our way to our “Air Conditioned”
City Hall via Queens Park Savannah and Frederick
Street. Here you will be greeted on arrival, served
with a welcome drink and seated. As Trinidad is
home of the Caribbean Carnival, it is the perfect
place to watch a traditional cultural show. Featuring
a Calypso singer, the vibrant music of steel drums,
colorful folklore costumes, classical dancing
and songs as well as the exciting fire limbo.
After this most exciting event, we make our 10
minutes drive back to the Port.

City Tour
An introduction to Port of Spain, the cosmopolitan capital of Trinidad. We cover all main points of interest like historical buildings, commercial and residential centers and other sites. We have Art Galleries, Museum, Parks, Emperor Valley Zoo and Botanical Gardens. A panoramic view of the city from the Lookout concludes our tour.

Caroni
Nature Sanctuary
The Caroni Nature Sanctuary is a mangrove swamp covering an area of 40 square miles at Trinidad’s North West Coast. After the 1/2hour drive from Port of Spain we board a large flat-bottomed boat and slowly travel along the beautiful peaceful waterways and lagoons admiring the bizarre Beauty of the Landscape and a variety of birds and other wildlife. The most astounding among these birds is the Scarlet Ibis, a large bright red bird feeding and nesting here. This tour is world renowned among ornithologists as it offers the observer an opportunity to see this rare protected bird with very little effort.
As an added attraction you have an option of also visiting a 60ft high view tower (approx. 100 steps) from which you experience a fantastic panoramic view of the swamp and environs including the Northern Range - imagine placing yourself just above the clouds.... Or just remain seated in the boats, while your guide keeps you informed. The almost surrealistic beauty of this famous nature resort will amaze you.
After this relaxing boat ride we return to the main landing and make our way to Port of Spain

Down
the Island Boat Cruise
We commence our tour with a 20 minutes drive along the scenic coastal roadway overlooking the Gulf of Paria and surrounded by the Northern Range. Then we make our way to one of the Trinidad Yacht Marinas where we board our typical local covered boat and set off on a cruise between the small various small islands until we reach Gasparee Island. Here we stop to visit a large limestone cave with amazing rock formation and a subterranean lake. After your guided tour through the easily accessible cave we continue our boat cruise to Scotland Bay, a remote bay inaccessible by car. Here you can take a swim in the soothing waters or just take a tan on the boat.

"Down South" tour &
Pitch Lake
On this tour we will have the opportunity of learning about our people, the culture, History & places of interest and three different landscapes, the hills of the North, the plains of Central and the rolling hills of the South.
We depart the hotel at 9:00 am with a short introduction drive along Independence Square Port of Spain, before we enter the highway, passing the hills of the beautiful Northern Range. Our drive takes us through the plains of Central Trinidad, vast mangrove swamp and rice fields. Trinidad being a mixed society, of all different races, we will see many Hindu flags in front of private residences & Hindu Temples and hear about their significance. We also visit the remarkable “Sadhu” hindu temple which was built under great sacrifices out in the sea. We pass through the borough of Chaguanas with its lively market place and busy streets to visit an old family pottery shop where you can observe the simple but effective pottery production. Our Industrial Estate and Port at Point Lisas is next and then it’s on to San Fernando, our second largest City. We travel through several typical Southern villages via main roads that lead us along the West Coast to a world famous attraction the “Pitch Lake” situated in La Brea. Here we take a 1 1/2 hour guided walk on this natural Asphalt Lake and find out many facts from the local guides. A “Wonder” of the World”, you would have never believed existed! After our tour of the lake we make our way back to San Fernando with a stop at the Gulf City Mall before returning to Port of Spain. The return drive last approximately 45 minutes.

Chaguaramas
Bike Tour
Depart
the ship by bus for our 20 minutes ride along
the scenic North West coast line road leading
into Chaguaramas. The Amerindians meaning the
land of the Royal Palm gave this to Chaguaramas.
When
we arrive we set off on a 3 hours ride of several
nature trails. We ride along the Macquripe main
road to the Tomb of Amelia Tripp and Samaan Park
where majestic mushroom like trees have stood
there for over 200 years. Then it’s into
the forest to a natural spring and magnificent
Nutmeg Grove. Along this tour you pass by the
Golf Course then into lush forested trail. Chaguaramas
is a spectacular sight full of wildlife surrounded
by our Northern Range Mountains, tropical vegetations
and along your bike ride you will get a firsthand
opportunity of the red howler & capuchine
monkeys, several species of birds, armadillo,
quenk and the orange breasted parrot. There will
be plenty of bottled water for your refreshment.
After your guided bike ride we make our way back
to the ship.

Then it’s a short drive to Lady Young Lookout for an excellent panoramic view of Port of Spain. Departing here, we make our way back to the Queens Park Savannah and make our way to the scenic coastal roadway passing through Westmorings, Bayshore and Carenage, overlooked by Trinidad’s Northern Range Mountains at one side and the Gulf of Paria on the other. This scenic roadway takes us by several secluded bays like St. Peters, Williams to name a few.
On arrival in Chaguaramas, we drive through the interior passing old United States Naval Installations, a Golf Course, Shooting Range and several Marinas which some times has approximately 3,000 – 4,000 Yachts all toll. While in Chaguaramas we make our official stop at the Chaguaramas Military & Aviation Museum, where you will be given a guided 35-40 minutes tour of this institution that houses 500 years of Trinidad’s History along with photos, maps, static displays and countless artifacts. And it’s back to Port of Spain to your hotel.

Our circle gives you the opportunity to see most of Trinidad in just one day. It includes the lifestyle of our people, the agricultural belt, industry and nature. We drive southwards along the West Coast to San Fernando, our second largest city and commercial center. Proceeding eastward we pass vast sugar cane plantations and small villages until we reach Mayaro, the first coastal village. Continuing on our tour along the coastline, we reach the very picturesque Manzanilla beach, which is situated in a lush coconut plantation stretching over a distance of 14 miles. Here we take a relaxing stop to experience the powerful ambience of this site. Leaving Manzanilla, we pass through Sangre Grande and Arima traveling on the east-west corridor back to Port of Spain.

Golf tour to St. Andrews
Golf Course
This stunning 18 holes golf course sprawls along the Maraval Valley and is flanked by steep, majestic mountains of Trinidad’s Northern Range. This beautiful course with its well-groomed greens and fairways is both scenic and challenging. Green fee, Caddies and roundtrip transport are included. This championship course is part of a 130 acres site commissioned in 1971. We depart the hotel making our 20 minutes drive through western Port of Spain and through the town of Bossiere and Maraval. On arrival you will be briefed and assigned you tees.
After your day of Golf, we return to your hotel.

There are also roadside bars that are very popular with the locals as well as the international crowd. Our guide will take you to the best spots in town for your dinner (local and international cuisine) or entertainment.

For those who are spending their whole vacation in Trinidad or are here on business and want to do a full day trip to Tobago, we will provide you with roundtrip airfare to Tobago, airport transfers, half day tour of Scarborough and a boat trip to the famous Buccoo Reef including a beach visit to one of the most popular beaches. Upon arrival we first visit Fort King George, then the capital Scarborough, the Mysterious Tombstone in Plymouth and Fort James. After these interesting stops we proceed along the Caribbean Sea passing some of Tobago’s finest hotel resorts e.g. Turtle Beach, Grafton Beach, Mt. Irvine Bay. We take a drive through Mt. Irvine Golf Course that offers us lovely scenery. From here we drive to the Claude Noel Highway and make our way to Pigeon Point Beach Resort where you will have time for lunch “on own” and thereafter board the Glass Bottom Boat to the Buccoo Reef, Coral Garden and the Nylon Pool. Admire the many colourful fish and reef formations, snorkel or take a swim in the 3-4 ft crystal-clear water at the Nylon Pool.
After returning to Pigeon Point we relax and swim for the rest of the day. Around 4:00pm .. we will drive you back to the airport for your flight to Trinidad where you will be met at the airport for your hotel transfer.

Hiking
Trinidad offers unlimited possibilities for hikers. The island is safe from dangerous animals and possesses an extremely varied landscape. Our hikes leave at 7.00a.m and last approximately 8 hours.
